Chefs including Michael Laiskonis of Le Bernardin, Kerry Heffernan of South Gate, Marc Spooner of Great Performances, François Payard of François Payard Bakery, Marc Murphy of Benchmarc Restaurants, Floyd Cardoz of Tabla, Marc Aumont of The Modern, Ian Halbwachs of Butter, Wayne Brachman of Porter House, and Jansen Chan of Oceana have challenged themselves to create an original pumpkin recipe that can be donated back to City Harvest.
